About this trip
Very few places in the world offer a ballooning experience like Bled - floating in silence above the lake as the sun comes up over the Julian Alps.
Flights depart at first light, weather permitting. You'll help inflate the balloon, then step in for around an hour of quiet, magical flight with a certified pilot.
We celebrate the landing with the traditional champagne toast and a flight certificate.

Every 3glav trip is led by certified local guides (IFMGA, ACIA, UIAA or IRF depending on discipline). We use inspected gear, cap group sizes and always err on the side of safety.

Julian Alps weather changes fast. Departure times are confirmed the evening before - and sometimes the morning of - based on the actual forecast.

Do I need previous experience?
No. Our trips are designed for first-timers and are led by certified local guides who tailor the day to your group.
What if the weather turns bad?
Safety comes first. If a trip can't run safely we'll offer an alternate date or a full refund. Exact departure times are confirmed the evening before.
Do you pick us up from our accommodation?
Yes - pickup from your Bled accommodation is included on most trips. For a few trips we meet at our office at Ljubljanska 1, Bled.
How far in advance should I book?
In July and August book at least 3–5 days ahead. Off-season we can often accommodate next-day requests - message us on WhatsApp.
